Our Client is a, dynamic multi-disciplined company, with a turnover of £280m and a work force of 1400 persons. It was set up in 1810. It is now part of a multi-Billion pound parent company and is based in the East of London.

The company has consolidated it’s position in the South East and has realistic growth plans for the company as a whole.

They work on some of highest profile builds in the country, covering a variety of sectors.

They are on an upward spiral with good investment from the parent company and also support.

The company is split into two regions, North and South. With a fairly even split of the Turnover.

They are currently based predominantly In Dartford and Manchester, but have satellite offices all over the UK.

The stated aim is to grow turnover from £280m to £500m in the next 5 yrs.

Responsibilities

• Ideally Located in the South East.
• A track record of delivering large projects on time and to budget. Project size £30m +.
• Ideally knowledgeable in the key client sector- Airports (though not critical)
• Could be of Senior Management, but must have excellent people skills and a good technical knowledge.
• Must have a hands on approach with the ability to see the larger picture, rather than get drawn into the minutiae.
• A strong willed individual who will be able to stand their ground in the face of the main contractor, and develop a close relationship.
• An open and consultative approach. Offering lateral thinking while drawing all the external parties together and delivering a high quality product to the Client.
• Be responsible for the development of the staff, keeping good staff morale, and maintaining a low turnover.
• Responsible for the appraisal of staff, making sure there is a strong structure
