Our client is part of a multi £bn construction services group. They are well respected and highly profitable in their specialist field. They are now seeking to consolidate their position as one of the main contractors in their field, successfully tendering on higher value and increasingly complex infrastructure projects.

Position

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be charged with developing the companies relationship with its clients. This will entail regular senior level client meetings to ascertain, manage and translate the clients expectations into realistic engineering solutions. This role calls for a sound engineering background preferably in a transport infrastructure environment. In turn you will coordinate the activities of the operational delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction, and a mutually beneficial outcome to continue improving and building the relationship.

Responsibilities

• Considerable post-graduate career in rail or a similar engineering field
• Degree in an engineering discipline
• A track record of technical achievement and engineering credibility
• Thorough understanding of the rail infrastructure network and procedures
• Engineering or technical management experience
• Excellent commercial acumen
• Exemplary client interfacing skills
• Excellent team management and coordination skills
