Our client is a leading £5bn global construction, engineering, investments and support services group operating across the UK, Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.

With the growth of the company a number of new roles are to be created in the group Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) team based in Central London. Reporting to the Director of SHE the team:

Position

Sets direction – advising the Board and the Executive Committee and assisting in formulating policy and strategy
Supports implementation across the global operating businesses
Monitors and provides assurance

Responsibilities

• Provide the lead on Environment across the group
• Develop strategy and metrics
• Contribute to the debate on Sustainability
• Manage annual environmental reporting from Opco’s
• Be responsible for SHE input into the Corporate Responsibility report
• Manage statutory returns.
